Daniel Thomas brings over 45 years of practical business experience to the CFO Systems team. He has extensive leadership experience at the Director level in private industry and Partner level in public accounting, serving as a COO, CFO, VP Finance, and in Operations management. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, accounting, finance, and public reporting. He is a former Certified Fraud Examiner and an active CPA in California.

His experience includes successfully documenting a controller’s defalcation and handling the matter on behalf of his client through an insurance recovery and a criminal conviction at trial. While serving as an independent director at Helios & Matheson, he was instrumental in reducing the number of directors from 11 to 5 while serving as chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Executive Committee. Daniel’s experience also includes contract negotiation with both vendors and landlords. He has a passion for understanding the business and developing team members with the goals of improving profitability, stability, culture, and growth.

Daniel’s breadth of experience, commitment to understanding people, processes, and technology, and strong analytical skills help his clients meet today’s difficult challenges while growing their businesses and teams.
