Dean J. Troester

Dean Troester brings more than 40 years of financial leadership, systems design, and executive business experience to the CFO Systems team. He began his career as a staff accountant and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), working in both audit and tax. After developing a strong interest in the intersection of finance and technology, he later moved into roles focused on financial systems development and process design.
This foundation led to a long and successful career in the transportation industry, where he first served as Controller for a leading national transportation company and later as Chief Financial Officer for a top national carrier. In these roles, Dean was instrumental in designing and implementing advanced systems for profitability management, lane analysis, driver performance metrics, and safety controls. These initiatives helped deliver industry-leading operational and financial results.
Dean later joined a national provider of transportation corporate payment and fraud prevention solutions, where he served as Chief Financial Officer, helping guide the company’s financial strategy and operational growth.
While relying on his diverse experience across finance, technology, and operations, Dean specializes in applying systems and analytics to solve complex business challenges. His strong analytical approach and practical leadership helps clients improve performance, strengthen financial visibility, and achieve sustainable growth.
