Stephen Simonetti brings over 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience to the CFO Systems team with a focus on founder-led consumer brands, retail, and beauty businesses. He is a CPA and seasoned CFO who has built and led finance functions from the ground up, transforming family-run and entrepreneurial organizations into professionally managed, data-driven operations.

He has deep expertise in financial reporting, cash flow management, and operational finance, producing accurate and timely balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash flow forecasts for internal leadership, banks, and external stakeholders. Stephen is known for implementing disciplined weekly and monthly reporting cadences, improving visibility into performance and liquidity, and strengthening working capital management, particularly in inventory-intensive businesses. His leadership drives informed decision-making and positions companies to capitalize on strategic opportunities.

Stephen’s experience also includes banking and debt negotiations, 13-week cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, due diligence support, and ERP system implementations. He is highly proficient in Oracle, Cognos, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel modeling.

His practical, hands-on approach, combined with his ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels, allows him to quickly identify issues, implement solutions, and support business owners in achieving sustainable growth.
