Justin has twenty years of leadership experience in treasury, corporate finance, financial planning, capital markets, and investor relations, serving small and mid-sized operating companies as well as global public multinationals. His industry experience includes manufacturing and industrial products, technology, hospitality, energy, aerospace and defense, and financial services.
Justin's areas of expertise include bringing structure to companies moving through carve-outs, turnarounds, and ownership changes as well as cash forecasting and liquidity planning, lender and banking relationships, debt structuring and covenant compliance, working capital and collections, currency and interest rate risk, and insurance.
At a private equity owned industrial platform, Justin built the inaugural finance and treasury function and implemented across 20 business units (most middle market operating companies) and structured the credit facility that funded them. At a public manufacturer navigating a turnaround, he managed a secondary equity offering, convertible notes, and a debt for equity restructuring. He has also rebuilt hedging programs that cut execution costs by 60% and restructured a pension investment framework that improved risk adjusted returns by 40%.
Justin works the cash forecast first and lets it drive what follows: what to borrow, what to fund, what to collect faster, and what to leave alone.
