Ken Mar has had a long and fulfilling history in treasury management and structured finance. His background includes global treasury management, balance sheet and cash flow management, cash metric maximization, commercial real estate leasing, financing and facilitating M&A teams from valuation to close.
Experience
Ken has 20 years of treasury and finance experience including 13 years serving as Global Corporation Treasurer for a company with interests in 30 different countries and 10 offices based in the United States. He has led and placed $150 million in structured financing and globally managed the credit function for over 500,000 square feet of multi-tenant office space.
As Treasurer, Ken reorganized global cash management using Oracle CRM and the installation of a global banking system that linked foreign currency and multi-national banking relationships. The streamlining of this process increased cash flow by $30 million. Ken also has placed tax increment financing, construction and permanent real estate financing and specialized in operational lines of credit and covenant management. Additionally, he has managed all facets of operational budgeting, foreign currency exchange, receivables/payables management and fixed asset/capital expenditure usage.
